***Media Advisory*** Monday, August 30th: Rose to Lead Health Care Listening Tour
COOKEVILLE, TN—On Monday, August 30th, U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-6) will hold a Health Care Listening Tour in Middle Tennessee where he will visit health care centers and speak with providers and health care professionals about lowering costs and increasing access to quality care.
The first event will be an in-person and closed press visit to Cookeville Regional Medical Center, the second event will be an in-person and closed press Sixth District Community Pharmacy Advisory Council meeting, and the final event will be an in-person and closed press meeting with local leadership and representatives from University of Tennessee (UT) Medical Center concerning a future health care facility in Fentress County.

U.S. Representative John Rose is currently serving his second term representing Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District and resides in Cookeville with his wife, Chelsea, and their two sons, Guy and Sam. The Sixth District includes Cannon, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, White, and Wilson counties as well as portions of Cheatham and Van Buren counties. Representative Rose is an eighth-generation farmer, small business owner, and attorney, and currently serves on the Financial Services Committee.
