Rose Names Local Healthcare Leader as District Director

Cookeville, TN – Congressman John Rose (TN-06) has named Rebecca Foster, former chief nursing officer of Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, as district director:

Rebecca Foster brings 29 years of experience in healthcare and executive roles to Congressman John Rose’s team. Most recently, Rebecca served as the chief nursing officer of Cumberland Medical Center (CMC) for six years. Previously, Foster worked as the director of critical care and the executive director of quality and patient safety at CMC.

“As President Trump has acknowledged, we must develop and commit to a healthcare plan that works for all Americans. Rebecca’s many years of experience in healthcare provide a critical perspective for the challenges facing our communities in the Sixth District,” said Rose. “Rebecca proved her strong leadership and healthcare acumen at Cumberland Medical Center, and I know she will provide the same outstanding leadership, counsel, and expertise in our district.”

Foster is from Fentress County and a graduate of Clarkrange High School. She is an alumna of Tennessee Technological University, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics. Rebecca and her husband, Allen, have two children, Brooke and Shade, and reside in Crossville. Foster works primarily from the Cookeville office, which is located at 321 East Spring Street, Suite 301, on the city square.

“We are thrilled to have Rebecca leading our district operations,” said Van Hilleary, Rose’s chief of staff. “Her strong healthcare background provides great insight on the advancements needed for rural health in Tennessee.”

Also staffing the Cookeville office is Bonny Warren, who is no stranger to casework in the Sixth District. Bonny joined Congressman Rose’s staff after eight years of experience driving constituent services in the district. Bonny resides in Cookeville with her husband, Jack, and coordinates assistance of all federal services for constituents in the Upper Cumberland.

“Bonny’s many years of experience are a true asset both through the relationships she has developed with federal agencies as well as the trust she has built with the people of the Sixth District,” Hilleary continued. “Rebecca and Bonny are uniquely positioned to advance community engagement and provide top constituent services.”

Congressman John Rose is a farmer and small business owner representing Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District. Rose resides in Cookeville with his wife, Chelsea, and their son, Guy. The Sixth District includes Cannon, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, White, and Wilson counties as well as portions of Cheatham and Van Buren counties.
