U.S. Rep. Rose Issues Statement on Supreme Court Striking Down Biden’s Student Loan Plan

Washington, DC—Today,U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-06) released the following statement after the Supreme Court struck down President Biden’s student loan plan:

“Justice Scalia once said, ‘Congress does not hide elephants in mouse holes.’ Today’s ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court is another example of executive overreach by President Biden and his administration,” said Rep. Rose. “Bailing out a select few well-educated, well-off individuals on the backs of hardworking, blue-collar workers is just plain wrong. I am glad the Supreme Court reached this conclusion of terminating this backward policy.”
