WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-6) testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies during their Member Day hearing to fight for access to health care in Fentress County. Representative Rose discussed the lack of access to quality emergency healthcare and advocated for funding to renovate an existing building to develop a freestanding emergency room and primary care clinic in Jamestown.

WASHINGTON—Last night, U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-6) hosted a public Telephone Town Hall, connecting with more than 1,500 Tennesseans in all 19 counties that comprise the Sixth Congressional District. Representative Rose gave an update on legislative priorities, discussed the proposed American Jobs Plan, explained actions needed to address the border crisis, and answered participant questions and comments.

WASHINGTON—Today, Representative John Rose (R-TN-6) and Representative Darren Soto (D-FL-9) introduced the Haulers of Agriculture and Livestock Safety (HAULS) Act, bipartisan legislation to provide much-needed flexibility to livestock and agriculture haulers. Specifically, this bill would help accommodate seasonal spikes in the transportation of agricultural products by modernizing the agricultural exemption to the hours-of-service rules.
